Job Summary
Head of Marketing & Client Experience for Chanel’s Fragrance & Beauty division leads 360° marketing across product, trade, client, digital and experiential initiatives to elevate client lifetime value, brand equity, and business performance. Drives category strategy, brand expression, trade marketing, and client growth; orchestrates CRM, client journeys, events, and loyalty programs; collaborates with HQ, field, wholesale, and retail teams to maximize ROI and ensure launch readiness, prioritization, and alignment with business objectives. Builds and leads high-performing, cross-functional teams, fosters an inclusive, collaborative environment, and contributes to regional and international marketing communities while translating Chanel’s values into integrated marketing initiatives across channels.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of proven experience in strategic and operational marketing, including leadership responsibilities
- Strong expertise in the Fragrance & Beauty category within a wholesale environment
- Deep sensibility to the luxury brand landscape and ability to translate brand identity across marketing initiatives
- Strong analytical and strategic mindset with attention to detail and results orientation
- Proven ability to lead and develop multidisciplinary teams and foster collaboration across HQ and field
- Ability to design and execute end-to-end client journeys across physical and digital touchpoints
- Experience building and maintaining a robust CRM ecosystem and leveraging data to drive client growth
- Demonstrated ability to mobilize internal and external stakeholders and manage cross-functional programs
- Inspiring and inclusive leadership style with a track record of driving collective success over silos
- Willingness to contribute to regional and international marketing communities and share best practices
- Experience in negotiating and coordinating with wholesale accounts and retailers
- Strong appetite for marketing innovation and leveraging new technologies and data to enhance client experience
