Job Summary
Lead integrated marketing and communications for Western Sydney University Student Union across multiple campuses with flexible work arrangements. Drive strategic direction and delivery of marketing efforts to amplify student voice, engage students in campus life, and strengthen the organisational profile. Oversee digital platforms, social media and website analytics to ensure accessibility, relevance and consistency of brand messaging. Lead and develop a small specialist team, support autonomous student media and publications, and collaborate with student leaders, university stakeholders and external partners to maximise reach while managing governance, compliance and reputational risk.
Required Qualifications
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing or communications
- postgraduate study desirable
- substantial experience developing and delivering marketing and communications strategies
- experience leading and developing teams
- strong practical experience across digital platforms, content, social media and analytics
- understanding of student-led or independent media and student-centred organisations
