Head of Market Making Technology (Director)

Job Summary
Lead architecture and delivery of Citi's global low-latency market-making platforms with hands-on coding and design leadership. Drive architectural consistency, latency targets, and high-quality delivery while collaborating with trading desks, quant researchers, and clients. Manage a global engineering and QA team, continuously improve SDLC processes (Agile, CI/CD, automated testing, DevOps, SRE), and design/test trading functions to meet performance and regulatory requirements across APAC markets.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 12 years of relevant experience with strong technical knowledge in Java, Rust, or C++
- Demonstrable expertise in low-latency trading, zero garbage collection techniques, and performance tuning of OS and network interactions
- Prior experience in leading global development teams
- Experience developing automated trading platforms
- Strong understanding of automated testing techniques
- Solid understanding of SDLC practices including Agile methodologies and Continuous Integration processes
