Job Summary
Provide strategic leadership for the manufacturing team to ensure production goals are met and quality standards are upheld. Develop comprehensive production plans accounting for capacity, lead times, and inventory levels while implementing lean manufacturing principles to increase efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, sales, and finance to align operations with business goals and fulfill customer orders on time. Manage inventory levels, optimize team performance through coaching and evaluations, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. Track key performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements. Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or operations management, 10+ years of manufacturing experience with 5 in leadership, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with some travel. Based in Lebanon.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or related field
- At least 10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with 5 years in a leadership role
- Experience in preparing and equipping factories and dealing with suppliers
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and experience implementing process improvement initiatives
- Proven track record of achieving production targets, reducing costs, and improving quality
- Experience with inventory management and demand planning
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead complex projects from conception to completion
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to manufacturing operations
