Head of Liability

Develop the strategy for the assigned class and customer segment, ensuring planning, management, and execution align with authority letters, underwriting guidelines, and MSIG policies to realize financial and commercial targets. Manage a yearly premium income of €100 million and lead the Liability underwriting team of 16 persons, serving binder and bourse business across local, multinational, middle market, and major client segments. Conduct analysis, assessment, and pricing of risks to make sound decisions on acceptance and pricing, while overseeing re-underwriting for claims to adjust premiums and conditions. Develop products and policy conditions based on market developments, maintain sustainable relations with customers and brokers, and build knowledge regarding insurance techniques and regulations.
