Job Summary
In the role of Head of Legal, you will lead and develop a team of lawyers overseeing Believ's EV charge point network operations including property acquisition, negotiation of contracts, regulatory compliance, and legal budget management. Key responsibilities include managing public and private sector transactions, overseeing compliance with legislation, and driving legal technology adoption. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of post-qualification experience, significant contract negotiation skills, and a background in property law.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor (SRA) in England & Wales
- Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience including in-house ideally in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Desired Qualifications
- Significant experience in negotiating and advising on commercial contracts
- Significant experience with property law and negotiating Leases and Licences
- Previous network infrastructure roll out experience
- Experience of coaching and developing team members
- Demonstrable experience of designing and implementing pre and post contracting processes
