Job Summary
Lead the Legal Team supporting strategic sourcing, IT procurement, and digitalization initiatives including e-commerce and new technology deployment. Provide legal advice on contract drafting and negotiations for large international outsourcing agreements, while tailoring guidance to Zurich's insurance business activities. Maintain intra-group agreement terms and support global Capability Centers and Board Secretariat functions. Manage and develop a specialized team of two lawyers.
Required Qualifications
- Law degree
- Bar exam
- Swiss Bar exam
- At least ten years of relevant experience in the areas of contract drafting and negotiations
- Experience in the area of IT/new technologies
- Experience in the (digital) distribution of offerings/services
- Experience in the associated legal topics (agency law, unfair competition etc.)
- Experience in the context of insurance/financial services
- Good knowledge of the captive reinsurance business
- Experience in drafting captive reinsurance contracts
- Experience in reviewing captive reinsurance contracts
- Experience in negotiating captive reinsurance contracts
- Experience in working on global or regional projects
- Experience in coordinating lawyers in other jurisdictions
- Fluent written English
- Fluent spoken English
- Fluent written German
- Fluent spoken German
