Job Summary
Serve as primary legal advisor to senior leadership on strategic and operational matters, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial and technology agreements for SaaS, partnerships, and enterprise customers. Advise on data privacy and regulatory compliance, including Singapore Personal Data Protection Act and other APAC regulations, while supporting product launches, fintech integrations, and cross-border business expansion. Manage corporate governance and company secretarial matters, coordinate with external counsel on cross-border issues, and conduct legal training for internal teams. Collaborate with the Berlin corporate legal team and functions like Finance and HR on compliance. Requires 7-8 years of regional corporate legal experience, with a preference for tech industry background and successful negotiation of complex contracts.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 7-8 years of working experience in a regional corporate legal capacity within a fast-paced, fast-evolving, and dynamic environment
- post relevant degree in Law
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the tech industry
- Successful experience in leading negotiations on complex, high value, contracts, and agreement
- Be able to break down legal advice in simple terms that can be comprehended by business stakeholders who don't have any legal background
- Excellent written communication skills in drafting high-value legal documentation, which must be clear, unambiguous, concise, and conclusive, leaving no room for misinterpretation or manipulation
- Ability to handle multiple simultaneous tasks and meet tight deadlines
