Job Summary
Lead, manage, and develop the Legal & Compliance team to ensure delivery of high-quality, timely, and effective legal support. Provide practical legal advice to management and business functions by reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts, internal regulations, and policies. Monitor and analyze new laws, issue regulatory updates, and ensure all business practices comply with applicable laws and Group standards. Lead dispute resolution and litigation by managing claims, legal proceedings, and external counsel to protect Company interests while minimizing risks. Review existing processes to identify inefficiencies and collaborate with IT to implement legal technology solutions such as contract lifecycle management systems. Implement and maintain the local Compliance Management System, conducting due diligence, audits, and internal investigations. Prepare periodic reports on compliance risks, incidents, and corrective actions for senior management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Law from a recognized university
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in corporate legal and compliance
- Experience in a managerial or team leadership position within a company of comparable scale
- Strong knowledge of commercial law
- Strong knowledge of contract law
- Strong knowledge of corporate legal matters
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance
- Strong knowledge of risk management
- Proven experience in drafting commercial contracts
- Proven experience in reviewing commercial contracts
