Job Summary
Lead the KYC Operations Function to ensure compliant, fast, high-quality onboarding and ongoing operations across multiple locations and internal/outsource teams; set strategic objectives, build high-performing teams, manage budgets, and align operational activities with Wise’s Servicing Strategy. Drive design of the onboarding program, governance, metrics, and risk controls in collaboration with Risk/Compliance; oversee ~75 employees across locations; foster data-driven decision making using analytics tools; champion a diverse, inclusive, high-performance culture and people strategy to scale operations globally.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Operations (preferably KYC/AML, financial crime, compliance, or related fields within financial services)
- Demonstrated leadership experience (8+ years)
- Experience leading large teams and mentoring across functions
- Proficient in analytics tools (Looker, Superset, or equivalent) for data-driven decision-making
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to operate in fast-paced environments and manage budgets at scale
- Strategic thinking and ability to design and implement vision for KYC Operations
