Head of IT and Cyber Security (m/f/d)

Job Summary
Lead TYTAN's IT and Cyber Security organization: develop and own the multi-year IT and security strategy, governance, and operations; build and mentor an internal team; manage IT infrastructure, end-user computing, networks, cloud services, IAM, and collaboration platforms; implement and mature ITSM and security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response, and security awareness programs; collaborate with Engineering, Operations, HR, Finance, and Leadership to balance operational needs with security, compliance, and business priorities; provide risk-based recommendations to leadership and oversee external providers and vendors; drive compliance and certification initiatives leveraging frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, and ISO 9001.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in IT, infrastructure, information security, or related disciplines
- 3+ years in a leadership or senior management role
- Experience building or scaling IT functions within a growing organization
- Strong understanding of modern enterprise IT operations and architecture
- Hands-on leader who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves when needed
- Demonstrated experience implementing and operating ITSM practices
- Experience managing external service providers and technology vendors
- Strong knowledge of information security principles and operational security controls
- Experience leading compliance, audit, or certification initiatives
- Deep understanding of ITSM, ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, ISO 9001
- Identity and Access Management (IAM)
- Endpoint and infrastructure security
- Business continuity and disaster recovery
- Vendor and third-party risk management
- Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC)
