Job Summary
Develop and execute risk-based audit plans to ensure integrity of financial and operational processes. Lead the internal audit team through mentorship and clear objectives while engaging stakeholders to align the function with organizational goals. Establish and improve risk management frameworks, mitigate identified risks, and coordinate with external auditors for seamless information exchange and statutory compliance. Provide financial insights on controls and reporting while driving adherence to corporate governance principles and advising senior management on evolving trends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- CPA, CISA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in both internal and external auditing
- Proven experience leading audit functions at the head of department level
- Significant experience in systems audits and risk management
Desired Qualifications
- A Master's degree is an added advantage
- Multi-sectoral experience, with a preference for FMCG
