Job Summary
Senior Director, Head of Europe Interchange Strategy and Development leads the development of interchange fee strategies for Europe, collaborating with Legal, Finance, Risk, Sales, Client Services and Product to evaluate, forecast, design rate structures, and communicate the impact of interchange decisions. The role drives pricing and interchange strategy across Europe, guides regulatory and competitive considerations, oversees key strategic projects (including Visa Direct and Visa A2A), educates clients and internal stakeholders on interchange strategy, and partners with cross-functional teams to support corporate goals. It also requires managing a team of professionals and being in the office at least 3 days per week in London, UK. The role demands a broad payments background, data-driven decision making, and the ability to influence multiple stakeholders at executive levels, with a track record of delivering complex strategic plans and leveraging analytics and AI-enabled insights.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, Graduate Degree, MBA or equivalent
- 10+ years of relevant professional experience
- Experience developing and/or negotiating pricing constructs
- Experience managing complex financial models and analytics to support recommendations
- Experience developing and delivering complex strategic plans
- Strong collaboration skills across markets, functions and levels
- Demonstrated ability to communicate at the executive level
