Job Summary

Direct all Mission Readiness - Integrated Logistics Support activities across programs to include execution, process, best practices, technical oversight, and budget monitoring. Lead the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive logistics strategies to improve deployment, maintenance, and sustainment capabilities, taking Integrated Logistics Support from zero to one on an aggressive timeline. Implement and maintain logistics systems, standards, and data to ensure accurate and efficient operations while leading a high-performing team through recruitment, training, and performance management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality, and program management to align logistics goals and establish design concepts for product research, development, testing, and integration. Influence contract acquisitions, negotiations, and modifications while developing logistics plans to ensure timely execution of deliverables. Solve obstacles for internal and external partners and communicate effectively to keep all stakeholders informed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field
  • 10+ years of experience in DoD/government logistics or progressively complex program administration experience, including leadership roles in operations, manufacturing engineering, or supply chain
  • Demonstrates technical expertise and application of logistics management principles, concepts, and practice as well as leadership skills including organizing, planning, scheduling, and coordinating workloads to meet established deadlines or milestones
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
  • Ability to travel as needed for the business
  • Ability to be local or relocate to Costa Mesa, CA

Desired Qualifications

  • Expertise in regulatory requirements as it relates to the DoD or government logistics, preferably related to aircraft
  • Experience working with, in, and around Air Force or other military branch Integrated Logistics operations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally, including at a deeply technical level, in an unstructured environment; startup experience preferred
  • Strong outcome orientation with the ability to drive initiatives from inception to implementation and adoption. Willing and able to dive into tactical execution mode when needed to move the effort forward
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects from idea conception to idea execution without assistance
  • Moves fast, has a positive attitude and can lead people directly and via influence
  • Government Proposal experience is desired
