Job Summary
Lead the development and review of hydrological and hydraulic studies for water infrastructure projects, ensuring technical consistency with local and international standards. Provide expert guidance on flood risk assessment, watershed modelling, stormwater management, river hydraulics, dam hydrology, and climate resilience assessments while overseeing the use of tools such as HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and MIKE Suite. Manage the Hydrology & Hydraulic Office by defining technical standards, allocating resources, and mentoring a multidisciplinary team of specialists. Act as the Lead Specialist on strategic projects, coordinate with project managers, and support proposal preparation and client engagement. Requires a Master's in Civil or Water Resources Engineering, Licensed Civil Engineer status, and proficiency in advanced modelling software.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Hydrology, or related discipline preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent required
- Licensed Civil Engineer
- Chartered Engineer, ASEAN Engineer, or equivalent international professional registration is advantageous
- Strong proven relevant experience in hydrology and hydraulic engineering
- Proven experience leading complex water infrastructure projects
- Experience managing technical teams and multidisciplinary project environments
- Strong background in flood modelling, drainage systems, water resources, river engineering, water supply, and wastewater hydraulics
- Advanced hydrological and hydraulic modelling capabilities
- HEC-HMS
- HEC-RAS (1D & 2D)
- PCSWWM
- GIS platforms
- Strong understanding of climate risk and resilience methodologies
- Excellent technical report writing and review skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working on international consulting or EPC projects is highly desirable
