Job Summary
Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the bank's goals, collaborating with the CEO and executive committee to drive organizational transformation. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and compensation programs while ensuring compliance with Canadian labor laws and market trends. Foster a positive work environment by addressing employee concerns, enforcing HR policies in partnership with the Parent Bank, and implementing training initiatives for skill enhancement. Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth transitions during organizational shifts and utilize analytics to measure HR effectiveness. Manage the HR budget effectively and support leadership development. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or Business Administration and extensive leadership experience in the banking or financial services industry.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or relevant HR experience
- Extensive HR leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of Canadian labor laws and regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with a track record of aligning HR initiatives with business objectives
