Job Summary
Head of Human Resources for a large real estate organization, responsible for leading HR for roughly 500 employees across property management, development, construction, and corporate functions. Partners with the executive team to shape workforce strategy, organizational structure, succession planning, and culture. Oversees talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, compliance, and HR operations; builds scalable, data-driven programs across corporate, operational, property management, construction, and executive functions; drives employee engagement, leadership development, and retention initiatives; collaborates with leaders to forecast workforce needs, develop talent pipelines, and establish succession plans; ensures competitive total rewards and regulatory compliance; utilizes HR analytics to inform decision-making and optimize organizational effectiveness; leads and develops the HR team and continuously improves HR systems and processes.
Required Qualifications
- CHRP, CHRL, SHRM, SPHR, or equivalent HR designation preferred
- 10+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience
- Significant HR leadership experience within the real estate industry is required
- Experience supporting real estate ownership, development, property management, construction, or related organizations
- Proven experience leading HR functions for organizations with several hundred employees
- Strong background in talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation, benefits, performance management, and organizational development
- Experience partnering directly with executive leadership and ownership groups
- Demonstrated success building scalable HR programs within growing organizations
- Deep understanding of employment legislation, HR compliance, and best practices
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align people strategies with organizational goals
- Exceptional communication, leadership, coaching, and relationship-building skills
- Experience leading and developing HR teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and growth-oriented environment
