Job Summary
Head of HR Technology Asia leads the regional HR technology strategy and delivery across Asia, overseeing design, governance, and enhancement of HR systems (HCM, payroll, self-service) to align with enterprise architecture, security, and regulatory requirements. The role drives regional transformation initiatives, ensures stability and performance of mission-critical HR services, and leads a distributed team across Hong Kong, China, and Bengaluru. Responsibilities include defining the Asia HR technology roadmap, overseeing architecture and data flows, governance forums, vendor management, budgeting, compliance, and delivering scalable, secure HR technology solutions with strong stakeholder partnerships. Key qualifications include 15+ years in HR technology, vendor management, program/project management, and experience in regulated enterprise environments with the ability to lead cross-functional programs and influence senior stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in HR technology or related field
- Experience in leading distributed teams of Project Managers, Technology professionals, Business Analysts, and QA resources
- Strong stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills
- Proven program and project management capability for complex, cross-functional initiatives
- Understanding of HR systems (e.g., HCM, payroll, employee self-service) and integrations
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture, security, and regulatory requirements in HR technology
- Ability to partner with HR, operations, governance, and technology teams across APAC and Japan
- Strong communication and leadership skills; ability to influence at senior levels
- Experience with governance, risk, and compliance in regional HR technology
- Ability to drive regional transformation initiatives while maintaining stability and performance
