Job Summary
Own and drive the overall HR strategy, aligning people initiatives with business growth plans and commercial objectives. Lead, manage, and develop the HR team while acting as a trusted advisor to the leadership team and Board on all people-related matters. Set the framework for employee relations, oversee complex grievances and disciplinary procedures, and lead the design of engagement, wellbeing, and inclusion strategies. Design and own the performance management framework, guide senior managers on objectives and KPIs, and oversee recruitment strategy for top digital talent. Ensure full compliance with UK employment legislation, manage payroll and benefits, and oversee learning and development programmes. Report on HR metrics, workforce planning, and organisational health to senior leadership. Report to Executive/Board level within a multi-award-winning digital consultancy serving UK government departments.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- CIPD Level 7 (essential)
- Extensive HR leadership experience within the UK (8+ years), including significant experience operating at a senior/Head of HR level
- Demonstrable experience building and leading HR teams
- Deep knowledge of UK employment law, with experience handling complex and high-risk ER cases
- Track record of designing and delivering HR strategy that supports business growth
- Experience managing end-to-end recruitment strategy at scale, including senior/leadership hiring

- Experience within a consultancy, technology, or fast-growing organisation is highly desirable
