Job Summary
Own and execute the AtlasBase People strategy aligned with business goals, serving as a trusted advisor on all people-related matters. Design scalable organizational structures, establish reporting lines, and coach leadership on team health and performance management. Manage total rewards including competitive compensation bands, equity structures, and benefits architecture while overseeing HRIS compliance and policy development. Lead end-to-end recruitment operations, workforce planning, and a seamless onboarding program to accelerate time-to-productivity. Partner with executive leadership on monthly headcount budgeting and capacity modeling. Work from the South San Francisco HQ office three days a week as a player-coach in this venture-backed environment.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive HR/People experience
- at least 7+ years in a senior People leadership role within a venture-backed, high-growth tech environment
- Series A/B through Series E+ experience
- Deep understanding of tech talent markets
- Deep understanding of startup equity structures
- Deep understanding of rapid headcount scaling
- Deep understanding of modern HR tech stacks
- Ability to think long-term about organizational health
- Willingness to roll up your sleeves on daily tasks
- Proven ability to leverage People metrics
- Strong interpersonal communication
- Courage to provide direct, constructive feedback to executives and employees alike
- Work from the South San Francisco HQ office a minimum of three days a week
Desired Qualifications
