Job Summary
In this senior leadership role, you will lead and inspire a team of Account Managers and Acquisition Managers to grow Airbnb’s Homes and Hotel business across Southeast Asia, focusing on expanding partnerships and driving exceptional outcomes. You will design and execute acquisition strategies to enhance high-quality accommodations, monitor business performance against revenue and quality KPIs, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive growth. The ideal candidate will bring over 15 years of experience in commercial roles, with a strong operational and strategic foundation to unlock new revenue sources and improve performance. Skills in coaching, fostering team culture, and influencing cross-functional collaboration are essential.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5+ years in a people-leadership role managing and scaling teams
- Expertise and strong understanding of the Regulated Markets in tech industry
- Demonstrated success in achieving strong results through others
- Highly organized and adept at leading multiple initiatives simultaneously
Desired Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in Commercial roles, Strategy, global operations, business development or marketplace management
- Industry experience in tech, FMCG or Travel
- Experience in Management Consulting is a plus
- Analytical and strategic thinker
- A combination of operational and commercial skills that will allow you to acquire supply across multiple channels
- Proven ability to influence product, policy, and cross-functional teams
- Skilled at leveraging tools, dashboards, and analytics
- Previous experience growing supply and building partnerships is highly valued
