Job Summary
Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Heat Sink scope for SZC Units 1 & 2 within the Main Civil Works, acting as Owner Participant in the Civil Works Alliance. Own delivery outcomes across Safety, Quality, Environment and Performance; unblock issues, optimise phasing, drive schedule adherence, and lead SZC Senior PMs/functional support. Drive alliance partnering, manage interfaces with Engineering, PMO, Commercial, Quality and Supply Chain, own risk and change control, and provide decisive leadership to enable on-time, on-cost delivery and smooth handover of civil works components. Requires experience in technically complex, regulated construction environments, ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams, and strong communication with stakeholders at UK government regulators, investors, and alliance partners.
Required Qualifications
- Degree and/or chartered status in an engineering, construction, project management or other related field.
- Security Vetting: resident of the UK for at least three of the past five years.
- Right to work in the UK (sponsorship considerations may apply)
- Experience delivering complex, technically regulated construction projects (preferably Nuclear Energy sector)
- Experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and interfaces across engineering, procurement, construction and handover
- Experience with risk, cost, schedule and change management in large-scale EPCM environments
- Knowledge of CDM Regulations and applying project management principles (APM, Prince 2)
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
