Job Summary
Define and enforce central hardware platform standards for power, communication, and I/O across Loxone Electronics and other group units. Lead technical responsibility for existing product lines, managing redesigns, component obsolescence, and lifecycle stability. Analyze field issues to drive structural improvements and ensure stable mass production with EMS partners. Build and lead the hardware platform team, growing it from two engineers to four or six within 18 months. Report to the VP of Product Engineering. Onboard via a three-week boot camp and eLearning to become a Loxone expert. This role supports Loxone's mission to make the world more energy-efficient through intelligent building automation.
Required Qualifications
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung in der Architektur und/oder Entwicklung elektronischer Serienprodukte (Industrie-, Gebäudetechnik- oder Consumer-Electronics-Umfeld)
- Fundiertes Schaltungs-Know-how, idealerweise mit Schwerpunkt in Stromversorgung, Mixed-Signal, Funk-/Kommunikationsschnittstellen oder EMV
- Erfahrung in der Definition und Durchsetzung technischer Standards über mehrere Produkte oder Geschäftseinheiten hinweg
- Erfahrung mit Produktpflege, Redesigns, Component-Engineering und Zusammenarbeit mit EMS-Partnern
- Führungserfahrung in einem technischen Umfeld (disziplinarisch oder fachlich)
- Souveränität im Stakeholder-Management: technische Linie konsequent halten, ohne den Goodwill zu verbrennen
