Job Summary
Head of Growth and Data Science responsible for leading Growth engineering and data analytics initiatives at MaintainX. Own end-to-end growth efforts from acquisition and onboarding to activation, expansion, and monetization, while shaping and executing the company-wide data strategy. Lead the Growth engineering organization across GTM enablement, onboarding, experimentation, activation, and monetization; build platforms and tooling for onboarding and asset management across multiple sites; drive a product-led growth engine including freemium-to-paid conversion and expansion workflows. Oversee Analytics & Data Science to design scalable data models, dashboards, and reporting frameworks; deliver data-driven insights to product, marketing, sales, and customer success; lead advanced data science initiatives including predictive modeling, segmentation, and experimentation; establish data governance and data integrity. Hire, mentor, and develop engineering leaders, data scientists, and analysts; communicate findings clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders; serve as a thought leader in data science and analytics to promote a data-driven culture. This role requires 8+ years of experience with a track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering impactful growth and data initiatives; a strong foundation in statistics, ML concepts, and experimentation, with a preference for experience in high-growth SaaS environments.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience spanning data science and/or engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role
- experience leading growth, onboarding, or marketplace teams to deliver products
- proven track record of building and scaling cross-functional organizations
- deep experience with statistical analysis, experimentation (A/B testing), and machine learning concepts
- product- and data-driven mindset; uses data and customer insight to drive decisions
- ability to build 0→1 systems and scale them as complexity grows
- comfort operating in ambiguity and leading cross-functional initiatives with executive visibility
- preferred: experience in high-growth SaaS or technology companies
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (preferred)
