Head of Government & Public Relations - EVE Air Mobility (eVTOL)

Job Summary
Develop and execute public policy and regulatory strategies to support the launch and growth of Eve's advanced air mobility technologies in the US, Brazil, and select international markets. Monitor legislative developments, including FAA rulemaking, and advocate for Eve's position before federal, state, and local legislative bodies through lobbying and testimony. Build relationships with policymakers, regulators, and industry associations while representing the company in public forums and working groups. Draft policy briefs, comment letters, and position papers on eVTOL certification and urban air traffic management. Report risks and opportunities to executive leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business goals with regulatory pathways. Report and advise executive leadership on risks and various opportunities including but not limited to policy, regulatory affairs, partnerships, trials, and grants.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in public policy, political science, law, or a related field
- U.S. Citizenship
- 7+ years of experience in government affairs, preferably in aerospace
- Deep understanding of the U.S. legislative and regulatory process, especially FAA and DOT
- Experience working on Federal, State or Local level
- Experience in successfully advocating at multiple levels of the government
- Strong communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills
- Public speaking and eloquent writing abilities
