Job Summary
The Head of Global Trade is responsible for setting the strategic direction and overseeing operational execution of global trade and tariff compliance. This includes ensuring full regulatory compliance, driving cost-optimization, and supporting alignment with global supply chain and tax strategies. The role requires collaboration across finance, supply chain, legal, and regulatory functions. Key responsibilities include developing global trade strategies, conducting risk assessments, overseeing trade technology implementation, and fostering a high-performing global trade team. Ideal candidates will have strong knowledge of international trade regulations, the ability to think strategically while executing operational tasks, and excellent leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- Deep theoretical and practical understanding of international trade regulations and tariff compliance
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to communicate with key stakeholders
- Proven ability to build and develop a highly performing trade organization
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the CDMO, Pharmaceutical or Chemical industry
- Prior working experience in several countries
