Head of Global and Strategic Intelligence

Head of Global and Strategic Intelligence at Mozilla Foundation is a senior individual contributor role within the Imagination & Strategic Growth team. Responsible for building and stabilizing Mozilla Foundation’s field intelligence function across organizational strategy, governance, and international engagements; synthesizing geopolitical and technology landscape signals into actionable knowledge; briefing the VP, executive team, and senior leadership ahead of high-stakes moments; and shaping external positioning through coordination with policy, partnerships, and strategic communications. The role emphasizes cross-program integration, development of intelligence infrastructure (CRM, dashboards, network mapping), and leadership readiness for major international convenings, with a global view beyond the U.S. and Europe. Core duties include tracking field movements, producing reconnaissance-ready artifacts, and ensuring institutional memory through knowledge-management systems. The candidate should demonstrate independent senior-level operation, trust-building across geographies, and a systems-thinking approach to power structures; experience with intelligence systems, dashboards, and CRM platforms (Salesforce) is valued.
