Job Summary
Own the companywide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning cycles while continuously improving financial models with AI-native approaches. Lead monthly and quarterly performance reporting, including variance analysis and commercial insights for the Executive Leadership Team, elevating financial storytelling through dashboards and visualizations. Act as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders across Product, GTM, Sales, Operations, and Engineering to support pricing strategy and investment cases. Support M&A, due diligence, and transaction analysis by driving the business to transaction-readiness and maintaining high-quality financial data. Re-engineer financial systems, data, and reporting around AI and automation to improve data integrity, forecasting accuracy, and the speed of the close. Ensure compliance with internal controls and support audit requirements. This senior role reports to the CFO, fundamentally redesigning the FP&A function to support Napier's ambitious growth plans with a credible, forward-looking finance engine.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years' experience in financial planning & analysis
- Advanced three‐statement modelling and financial analysis expertise
- Strong experience partnering with senior leaders in commercial, product, and operational teams
- Highly proficient with Excel, financial systems (NetSuite, HubSpot), and modern BI tools
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast‐paced, high‐growth, data‐driven environment
- Genuine appetite to build an AI-native finance function
- Comfortable implementing the use of AI and automation tools in day-to-day forecasting, modelling and reporting

Desired Qualifications
- Professional qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA (or equivalent) preferred
- ideally within SaaS, fintech, or fast‐growth technology businesses
- Exposure to PE-backed environments, lender/covenant reporting or transaction diligence is an advantage
