Job Summary
The Head of Financial Planning will lead the Finance team in driving a coordinated approach across financial planning and forecasting processes, ensuring alignment with The Very Group's strategic goals. Key responsibilities include delivering the group’s 5-year plan, annual budget, and in-year forecasts, facilitating board-level debates on financial plans, and leading the transformation of planning processes for increased efficiency. The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with significant post-qualified experience, excellent in communication and relationship-building, capable of navigating complexity and delivering accurate financial insights.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified accountant with minimum 5 years post-qualified experience in leading and managing FP&A teams.
- Demonstrable organizational skills.
- Experience of managing a team of qualified accountants.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of corporate finance and cash forecasting would be advantageous.
- First-class written and presentation skills.
- Ability to prepare material that succinctly communicates complex issues for executive-level discussion.
