Job Summary
Provide strategic financial insights to the Portfolio Director, challenging assumptions and driving commercial decision-making for the Engagement cluster across France, Czech Republic, Spain, Switzerland, and Austria. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term business planning while analyzing financial performance to identify trends and margin improvement opportunities. Ensure month-end and year-end reporting processes are executed correctly by local teams, supporting Group consolidation and compliance with IFRS standards. Partner with the Portfolio Director to review and constructively challenge business plans for acquired entities, ensuring accounting policies align with Group standards and closing gaps ahead of reporting deadlines. Serve as the primary finance contact during integration periods, providing guidance and training to embed team.blue ways of working.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Significant business partnering experience in complex environments, ideally across multiple countries
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking abilities
- Experience managing complex financial models and forecasts
- Proven track record working with senior leadership teams
- Experience in multi-entity, multi-currency operations
- Advanced financial analysis and modelling capabilities
- Expert knowledge of management accounting principles
- Strong systems proficiency
- Understanding of IFRS and local GAAP requirements
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to influence and constructively challenge senior stakeholders
- Comfortable working with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Strong cultural awareness
- Self-motivated with ability to work autonomously
- Collaborative mindset with customer-first approach
- Fluent English
