Head of Finance

Head of Finance in Bengaluru to own the full finance function including accounting, FP&A, treasury, compliance, and investor reporting. Leads financial control, governance, and high-volume transaction management, building the team and systems to scale, reporting to the CFO/CEO. Requires ownership of monthly/quarterly/annual close under Ind AS, audit processes (statutory/tax/internal/CARO), onboarding and relationship management with auditors, banks, and regulators, and hands-on leadership of revenue recognition, inter-company entries, working capital optimization, and fundraising support in an insurance/insurtech or high-transaction startup environment. Ideal candidate has CA with 10–15 years of experience, track record of scaling finance in a growth company, and ability to partner with founders and cross-functional leaders while maintaining rigorous controls and investor-grade reporting. Location is on-site in Bengaluru with a direct leadership path to CFO/CEO and a clear trajectory toward CFO as the company scales. Growth opportunity includes building the finance function from the ground up and shaping governance, controls, and systems for scalability.
