Job Summary
Own responsibility for day-to-day finance functions, improving month-end processes without compromising accuracy while building monthly profitability reporting. Strengthen stock controls, reconciliations, and COGS reporting to support purchasing, production, and labour planning through a joined-up demand process. Maintain a weekly 13-week cash flow forecast, improve credit control and overdue customer management, and identify opportunities to automate finance workflows. Mentor the Management Accountant and establish business partnering relationships with D2C, B2B, Grocery, Coffee, and Operations teams. Lead the finance function to strengthen financial control and provide commercial insight as Pact Coffee scales its operations.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrable technical accounting knowledge, including balance sheet controls, VAT and statutory reporting
- Recent experience in an inventory-intensive business, ideally manufacturing, production or FMCG
- Strong understanding of stock, COGS and margin accounting
- Experience in forecasting, financial modelling and data analysis
- Track record of improving and automating finance processes
- Strong commercial curiosity and the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
- A proactive approach to solving problems and taking ownership
