Job Summary
Operate and lead the finance function in a scaling SaaS startup, building scalable reporting systems and implementing strategic controlling frameworks with key SaaS KPIs. Manage detailed budgeting, rolling forecasts, and liquidity planning while overseeing monthly, quarterly, and annual HGB financial statements. Lead the development of finance infrastructure, optimize business processes, and ensure seamless integration of accounting workflows. Support the leadership team on strategic financial matters, investor relations, and upcoming financing rounds. Establish a data-driven culture through close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Abgeschlossenes Studium in BWL, Finance, Accounting oder Controlling
- 3 Jahre Berufserfahrung und erste Führungserfahrung im Finanzbereich
- Erfahrung in Tech-, SaaS- oder Scale-up-Umgebungen
- Nachweisliche Erfahrung im Aufbau von Reporting-Systemen und Finance-Prozessen
- Fundierte Kenntnisse in Budgetierung, Forecasting und Finanzplanung
- Sicherer Umgang mit Tools in der Controlling-, aber auch Accounting-Welt (Excel/Google Sheets, Power BI oder ähnliche BI-Tools, Accounting-Software)
- Ausgeprägte Hands-on-Mentalität
- Analytisches Denkvermögen und Fähigkeit, Zahlen in verständliche Insights zu übersetzen
Desired Qualifications
- Erfahrung mit Finanzierungsrunden
- Kenntnisse in der Fördermittelakquise
- Erfahrung in der Implementierung von Finance-Systemen
- Rechtliches Know-how im Bereich Corporate Governance, Gesellschafts- und Vertragsrecht
