Job Summary
Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls for the Brazilian securities distributorship, ensuring compliance with Central Bank and CVM regulations. Act as the statutory representative before regulatory authorities, manage liquidity and capital adequacy, and support external audits and regulatory inspections. Collaborate with internal teams and Group finance initiatives across LATAM to align financial operations with strategic goals. This part-time role offers the opportunity to transition to full-time as the business expands.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- 10 years of progressive experience in financial management, accounting, or audit
- Minimum 2 to 3 years in a finance role within a financial services company, preferably in capital markets and securities brokerage
- Previous experience of acting as a statutory director/officer
- Familiarity with the Central Bank of Brazil and CVM regulations, meeting 'Fit & Proper' criteria
- Strong understanding of financial reporting standards, capital markets operations, and regulatory financial frameworks
- Proficient in financial software, reporting tools, and Microsoft Excel
- Highly organized with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with auditors, regulators, and internal stakeholders
- Ethical, accountable, and professional, with a strong sense of ownership
- Business-level English proficiency (B2 level or above according to CEFR)
