Job Summary
Lead the day-to-day financial management of the organisation, establishing robust controls, policies, and procedures while monitoring cash position, liquidity, and profitability. Oversee comprehensive accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, collections, bank reconciliations, and fixed asset records, ensuring accurate monthly management accounts and timely statutory compliance with Nigerian obligations. Prepare and interpret detailed financial reports covering profit and loss, balance sheets, cash flow, MRR/ARR, and EBITDA to support strategic decision-making for the Group CEO, Board, and senior management. Manage the annual budgeting process, capital expenditure planning, and scenario analysis, while building and leading a scalable, technology-enabled finance function.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
- Professional qualification such as ICAN, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or equivalent
- Minimum 7–12 years of relevant professional experience
- Strong knowledge of Nigerian accounting, taxation, and statutory requirements
- Strong financial reporting, analysis, and modelling capabilities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling
- Experience working with accounting software, ERP, or financial management systems
- Strong understanding of cash-flow management and financial controls
