Job Summary
Head of Festival Marketing at Danny Wimmer Presents is a senior player/coach role responsible for end-to-end marketing strategy and execution for a portfolio of festivals. The role requires architecting launch plans for new festival properties, managing integrated marketing across paid media, organic social, email, partnerships, and on-site activations with pass sales as the north star. You’ll coordinate with ticketing, talent, sponsorship, and operations to ensure launches are aligned and timely, monitor daily sales pacing, lead media planning for festivals and new launches, define success metrics and go-to-market plans, and build a high-accountability team culture. The position emphasizes hands-on execution, data-driven decision making, and strong communication to align internal teams and external partners. Location is Nashville with a hybrid schedule (4 days in office). Salary is DOE and includes benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of marketing experience, deep expertise in paid media, campaign management, and analytics—ideally in live entertainment or related industry
- proven track record of driving ticket/pass sales through integrated campaigns
- experience launching new brands or events from the ground up, including go-to-market strategy, media planning, and first-cycle execution
- experience managing or mentoring direct reports, building accountable, solution-focused teams
- strong media planning and buying across digital and traditional channels
- sharp analytical instincts and ability to move quickly from insight to action
- exceptional project management skills with deadlines and issue flagging
- clear, confident communicator able to align internal teams and external partners
