Job Summary
Head of Facilities & Operations responsible for overall operations of commercial and residential properties nationwide with a focus on event management halls. Duties include managing properties across the country, ensuring legal documentation and vendor agreements (security, maintenance, lifts, generators), supervising maintenance staff, renewing service contracts, conducting property inspections, updating policies in line with national laws, driving marketing for exhibition halls, negotiating client contracts, ensuring timely billings and collections, overseeing safety and security, asset/inventory control, maintaining statutory licenses, and developing SOPs to improve operations. Requires Bachelor’s degree (management, marketing, or related) and at least 5 years of relevant property/operations experience; strong English and Kiswahili language skills; proficiency with MS Office; ability to coordinate with contractors and sub-contractors; capable of leading teams and delivering proactive management.
Required Qualifications
- Preferably Bachelor’s degree in Management, Marketing and Sales
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in managing properties and operations
- Excellent sales & marketing skills to expand client base
- Good knowledge of maintenance and administration
- Understanding of building maintenance
- Ability to handle maintenance personnel, security services
- Experienced in handling complex tasks independently
