Job Summary
Deliver strategic guidance to business leaders on integrating artificial intelligence to improve customer service and operational efficiency. Manage enterprise architecture components for transformational process improvements, advanced data analytics, technology portfolio innovation, modern infrastructure adoption, and emerging IT risk mitigation, including leading transitions to cloud-based platforms. Formulate, translate, and execute business strategies while developing technology-enabled operating models. Identify relationships among people, processes, information, and technology to present business capability models and roadmaps that support enterprise-wide decision-making. Lead the establishment of governance controls, assurance mechanisms, and standards to guide architecture decision-making, and present gap analyses and IT investment roadmaps reflecting the condition of the existing IT environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Analysis, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- At least 7 years of experience across a minimum of three disciplines, including business architecture, information architecture, solution architecture, technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management, or operations within a multitier environment
- At least 5 years of business experience in strategic planning, operational planning, or related business functions
- Strong knowledge of business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit analysis, budgeting, and risk management
- Familiarity with information management practices, systems development life cycle management, IT service management, infrastructure and operations, enterprise architecture frameworks, and recognized IT service management frameworks
- Ability to balance foundational enterprise architecture activities focused on efficiency and predictability with advanced enterprise architecture initiatives focused on speed, agility, and flexibility, creating a unified and adaptable architecture that meets organizational requirements
- Strong understanding of existing, new, and emerging technologies and processing environments
- Ability to remain vendor- and technology-neutral, with a stronger focus on business outcomes than on personal preferences or the vested interests of business and IT leaders
- Familiarity with fundamental graphical modelling methods, tools, and model repositories
- Ability to think, behave, and operate as an innovative consultant in supporting the organization's digital business strategies
- Strong understanding of business language and the ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders
- Ability to influence stakeholders across the organization and work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to drive short-term actions that remain aligned with long-term objectives
- Practical and principle-based approach to decision-making and problem-solving
- Ability to balance the long-term strategic perspective with the short-term implications of individual decisions
- Ability to translate business needs into enterprise architecture requirements
- Ability to assess the financial impact of alternative enterprise architecture solutions

- Ability to quickly understand the functions and capabilities of new technologies
- Knowledge of business ecosystems, software as a service, infrastructure as a service, platform as a service, service-oriented architecture, application programming interfaces, open data, microservices, event-driven IT, and predictive analytics
- Comprehensive knowledge of all components of holistic enterprise architecture
- Knowledge of business engineering principles and processes
