Job Summary
Lead the Engineering & Maintenance team across the Healthcare LIFT portfolio, ensuring safe, compliant, and effective delivery of Hard FM services while maintaining high customer satisfaction and contractual performance. Oversee statutory compliance, technical governance, engineering performance, and quality assurance by acting as the lead representative for engineering audits and technical reviews. Manage resource planning, contractor performance, asset management, and lifecycle activities in collaboration with Contract Managers and the Compliance Team. Contribute to commercial and financial performance through budget setting, forecasting, procurement activities, and business-wide continuous improvement initiatives. Report directly to the CEO and drive performance within a complex, highly regulated environment.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience managing Hard FM services across complex, multi-site estates within a PPP/PFI environment, ideally healthcare
- Strong technical knowledge of building services engineering, statutory compliance and healthcare maintenance requirements, including HTMs and HBNs
- Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams, contractors and multiple stakeholders
- Commercially aware, with experience of performance management, contract delivery and budget accountability
- HNC/HND (or equivalent) in a Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering discipline
- Must be available for regular travel across the Healthcare LIFT portfolio
