Job Summary
Engineering Director (Head of Engineering) responsible for leading a ~100-person technology department in a fintech specialized in online accounting. Reports to the VP of Engineering and collaborates with product to define and execute the roadmap. Owns budget oversight, external partner relationships, coaching of Engineering Managers, HR-related management of staff, and the onboarding program. Drives organizational health, recruitment strategy, and clear role definitions within the technical team. Ensures project delivery in terms of quality, cost, and timelines (MCO). Establishes and tracks OKRs with technical and management teams; provides regular reporting to the VP of Engineering and leadership. Requires strong cross-functional communication, ability to manage multiple concurrent projects (~50+), and capability to steer portfolio-level planning with PMO practices. Location: Lyon, France. CDI permanent role, on-site in Lyon.
Required Qualifications
- Expérience de management d'entreprise tech / département tech : 100 personnes
- Expérience de direction de projets transverses avec 3 à 5 équipes
- Expérience de PMO (project manager officer) = capacité à mettre en place du pilotage de portefeuille projets et piloter avec les managers +50 projets en parallèle via des outils, des KPI, du contrôle
- Capacité d'adaptation, de "context switching"
- Excellente communication
