Job Summary
Founding Head of Engineering leading architecture, infrastructure, and team-building at an early-stage neurotechnology company. This leadership role combines hands-on coding with strategic roadmap development, scaling the engineering organization, and partnering with company leadership on product direction and iteration. You will own architecture and roadmap direction, build and scale the team while maintaining a strong culture, and drive engineering efforts in fast-paced, scrappy environments. You’ll participate in user research, data analysis, and experiment design, translate ambiguous product goals into clean technical decisions, and contribute to hiring and culture. Remote or flexible work arrangement available.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years building product at early-stage startups
- Track record of shipping products from 0→1
- Experience driving engineering efforts in fast-paced environments
- Product engineer at heart: comfortable with ambiguity and able to engage in user research and data analysis
- Experience with cloud-based product architecture at scale
