Job Summary
Lead and develop the Shoppingfeed Engineering organisation, defining platform architecture and owning execution quality while mentoring Engineering Managers and Tech Leads. Build scalable engineering processes, champion modern software practices and DevOps, and drive architectural decisions that ensure scalability, reliability, and performance. Partner closely with Product Management to execute the roadmap, balancing customer value with long-term maintainability to support Centric Software's global Product Experience Management strategy. This role requires 10+ years of experience in software engineering and leadership, with a strong background in cloud-native architectures and SaaS environments.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience leading software engineering teams within SaaS
- Strong technical background with experience in software architecture
- Experience managing Engineering Managers or Technical Leads
- Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures and modern engineering practices
- Ability to influence technical direction without being hands-on day-to-day
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience building and scaling engineering organisations
- Experience with cloud technologies and modern web architectures
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline
- 10+ years' experience in software engineering
- Several years in engineering leadership positions
- Fluent French speaking
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience with PHP or AWS
- Experience within eCommerce, marketplace technologies, PIM, PXM or digital commerce platforms
- Experience leading post-acquisition or scaling engineering organisations
- Experience working with distributed engineering teams
