Job Summary
Head of EMEA Policy Communications leads the regional strategy and execution of policy advocacy communications across EMEA, coordinating with Government Relations and business leaders, guiding messaging, managing a regional team and external agencies, and driving data-informed outcomes with clear KPIs. The role emphasizes developing clear, accurate narratives for policymakers and stakeholders, building relationships with financial policy journalists and industry associations, and ensuring editorial standards and regulatory awareness across materials.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in EMEA policy communications, advocacy campaigns and/or public affairs with deep understanding of EMEA policy, regulatory and political landscapes.
- Established relationships with EMEA financial policy journalists and key stakeholders; demonstrated record of securing high‐impact coverage and shaping narratives.
- Proven experience developing and implementing successful advocacy communications for policy, legislative, and regulatory proposals.
- Exceptional writing and editorial judgment; ability to synthesize complex regulatory topics into clear, compelling content for diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal and people leadership skills with experience in large, matrixed organizations; trusted advisor to senior executives.
- Excellent organizational skills; adept at prioritizing high‐volume, high‐urgency initiatives.
