Job Summary
The Head of Edge Solutions leads the technical planning and framework building for KONE's edge devices, ensuring the advanced, feasible, and scalable nature of technology routes. Responsibilities include project management, effective cross-department collaboration with products, suppliers, testing and external partners, and resolution of project bottleneck issues. The role requires a strong understanding of hardware development and safety regulations, with a commitment to team management and capability building.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in communication, electronics, computer or related fields
- More than 5 years of experience in edge device development management
- Proficient in C/C++ programming
- Familiar with common embedded operating system development
- Embedded software architecture design capability
- Familiar with common communication interfaces and protocols
- Familiar with hardware product development processes
- Knowledge of common hardware-side security solutions and software encryption/decryption algorithms
- Strong technical, product, and project documentation writing skills
- Fluent verbal and written communication in English
- Proactive, responsible, with a pioneering spirit
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as a product system engineer
- Experience in IoT product development for elevators
