Job Summary
Lead the creative vision for 2XU's global product collections by translating athlete insights and market trends into innovative, premium performance apparel. Own the end-to-end design process, partnering with Product, Technical Design, and Development teams to deliver world-class products from concept through to production while balancing technical performance, exceptional fit, and commercial success. Collaborate across Merchandising, Sourcing, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to align product strategy with business objectives and champion emerging technologies that shape the brand's future. Lead, coach, and inspire a high-performing Design team through mentoring, clear expectations, and succession planning to foster a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years' experience in apparel or performance product design
- leadership experience within a premium sportswear, activewear or lifestyle brand
- A strong portfolio demonstrating innovative, commercially successful product design
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing creative teams
- Deep understanding of performance fabrics, garment construction and technical product development
- Experience working with global suppliers and manufacturing partners
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance creativity and business outcomes
- Excellent communication, collaboration and stakeholder management skills
