Head of Demand Planning

Job Summary
Lead and manage the centralized demand planning teams, providing strategic direction, mentorship, and coaching to ensure professional growth and high performance. Guide the Demand Forecasting Excellence group and AI-powered tools to continuously improve forecasting capabilities. Develop and implement strategic plans for hub-level demand planning, drive improvements in planning processes, ensure accuracy and reliability of demand plans with robust quality assurance and regulatory compliance, and act as the primary interface between global hub leadership and market-level demand planning leads. Own KPI accountability, resource optimization, and compliance with internal quality standards. Stay updated on industry trends to maintain cutting-edge practices, and prepare senior-management demand planning reports with insights and recommendations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of professional experience in demand planning roles with demonstrated team leadership capabilities
- Proven multinational leadership track record
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical primary and secondary manufacturing processes preferable
- Excellent proficiency in demand planning tools and ERP systems (SAP and Kinaxis)
- Strong knowledge in AI tools
- Comprehensive understanding of internal and external regulatory frameworks
- Strong skills in mentoring, coaching, and team development
- Proficient in problem-solving, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- A high level of accountability and attention to details
- Demonstrated high standards of integrity, professionalism, and commitment
- Good team facilitation and relationship building skills
- Advanced degree (e.g., Master's or PhD) in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Excellent English communication and writing skills
