Job Summary
As Head of Delivery Services, provide a senior leadership role shaping and driving delivery of complex portfolios to support the Royal Navy and UK defence. You will align strategic investment with operational delivery, ensuring governance, performance, and continuous improvement across a safety-critical, highly regulated environment. Lead cross-portfolio delivery, drive strategic initiatives including digital transformation, knowledge management, and continuous improvement, and develop resourcing strategies to align future demand with capability. Manage interfaces, risks and dependencies across programmes and stakeholders, identify efficiency opportunities, and deliver measurable benefits. Role is on-site at Plymouth, Bristol or Edinburgh with travel to other sites.
Required Qualifications
- Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
- Security Clearance (SC)
- Strong leadership and influencing capability at senior or executive level
- Experience leading large, complex portfolios
- Knowledge of portfolio, programme and project delivery methodologies (MSP, PRINCE2/Agile)
- Ability to develop and realise business cases and benefits
- Experience in regulated environments (defence/public sector)
