Job Summary
Head of DC Venlo oversees one of the company’s key operational hubs, ensuring reliable and timely deliveries to stores and online customers while leading the senior operational team. Responsibilities include driving productivity, quality, and cost performance through KPI- and data-driven approaches; managing the Facility and HSE function; continuous process optimization; cross-functional alignment with Retail, Supply Chain, E-commerce, IT, QC; ensuring operational readiness during peak periods and business growth; and contributing to long-term development of the distribution centre, including systems, automation, and new ways of working. A senior logistics leader with experience in large-scale distribution, capable of balancing daily execution with strategic development, and comfortable using data to challenge existing processes. SAP EWM/WMS experience is a noted advantage. Workplace is SG DC Venlo B.V., Venlo, Netherlands; 37 hours per week; start as soon as possible; involvement in an all-electric facility focused on carbon footprint and Sister spirit culture.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading leaders in a larger logistics or distribution environment
- Ability to balance daily operational execution with long-term development
- Data-driven decision-making and KPI focus
- Experience with or understanding of SAP EWM/WMS is advantageous
