Job Summary
Lead the strategic and technical development of the Datacenter business field, identifying new market opportunities and supporting sales and acquisition activities. Manage the end-to-end planning, execution, and commissioning of complex datacenter projects from initial concept to operational handover. Build and lead the international Datacenter Competence Center while coordinating interdisciplinary teams across electrical engineering, MEP, and architecture. Ensure compliance with relevant standards and drive cost, schedule, and quality control within EPC and HOAI frameworks. Conduct risk analyses, manage tendering processes, and advise clients on sustainable infrastructure solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Studium der Elektrotechnik, Energietechnik, Versorgungstechnik, Gebäudetechnik oder einer vergleichbaren Fachrichtung
- Mehrjährige Berufs- und Führungserfahrung in der Planung, Entwicklung oder Realisierung von Datacenter-Projekten
- Fundierte Kenntnisse in der Entwicklung und Steuerung komplexer Rechenzentrumsprojekte
- Tiefgehende Expertise in der elektrischen Infrastruktur von Datacentern sowie in hochverfügbaren Versorgungssystemen
- Erfahrung mit großskaligen Infrastruktur-, Industrie- oder EPC-Projekten
- Sehr gutes Verständnis für Energieeffizienz, Nachhaltigkeit und moderne Datacenter-Konzepte
- Kenntnisse relevanter Normen, Richtlinien und regulatorischer Anforderungen
- Erfahrung in Risikoanalysen, Value Engineering und technischer Projektoptimierung
- Ausgeprägte Fähigkeiten in Projektsteuerung, technischer Dokumentation und Organisationsentwicklung
- Unternehmerisches Denken sowie Erfahrung im Aufbau neuer Geschäftsfelder oder Marktsegmente
- Führungskompetenz, Kommunikationsstärke und souveränes Stakeholder-Management
- Verhandlungssichere Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse
