Job Summary
Head of Data Science to lead a cross-functional Data Science team and shape product strategy for a high-growth health-tech platform. You will set the DS strategy and roadmap across consumer acquisition, activation, engagement, retention, and member health outcomes; build and evolve measurement frameworks (north-star metrics, funnels, retention, engagement) and experimentation standards; translate ambiguous business problems into analytical roadmaps; drive data-informed decisions with senior leadership; collaborate with Product, Engineering, Growth, Marketing, Clinical, Finance, and Operations; mentor a team of data scientists and analysts, hire and structure the function, and ensure governance and quality in data foundations. Strong emphasis on product-facing analytics, causality, segmentation, forecasting, personalization, and improving member experience at scale.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in data science or related fields
- 4+ years of people-management experience
- proven ability to build and scale a Data Science function
- strong product and business judgment
- deep fluency in product analytics (funnels, retention, engagement)
- excellent executive communication and stakeholder management
- technical fluency in SQL, statistics, experimentation
